YAY or NAY? : L.A Girl Makeup Collection

L.A Girl well known as a drugstore cosmetics that have many variant makeup collection such as primer, foundation, powder, concealer, setting spray, lip products, etc which quite affordable and has good quality. I am also one of L.A Girl fans who collect some of their best seller products. Here there are.

What it claims : PRO.coverage high-definition long wear illuminating liquid foundation is ideal for a flawless looking, full coverage finish. Lightweight formula is comfortable for all day wear. Paraben free formula with added anti-oxidants helps hydrate and improve the skin’s appearance. Now available to extend the color range even further, an innovative white foundation mixer to adjust and customize color.

In my opinions : This is a light coverage foundation that suit for daily use. It can cover my redness around nose area, but it can’t cover my dark spot. The finish is soooo dewy which I don’t really like (cause I have oily skin). They have 16 shades and I’m in shade GLM642 – fair. The color fair is not really light. If you have lighter skin than mine, maybe you’ll find it difficult to choose your color. But don’t worry, the foundation came in white color that can be used with any shade to create a custom color to lighten as needed. I apply all over my face with Real Technique sponge to get flawless looking finish. Since the packaging is very similar, is it a dupe of Makeup Forever Ultra HD Foundation? Hmm.. I don’t think so. It’s a NAY from me.

What it claims : HD PRO BB Cream is formulated without parabens and made fragrance-free to pamper sensitive skin and lavishly nourish skin with added Vitamin B3, C and E. The silky formula covers a wide range of skin tones with eight diverse shades. This is your all-in-one skin beautifier that primes, moisturizes and enhances skin tone.

In my opinions : YAY!! Love the finish and the packaging. I buy shade GBB944 – neutral. Unfortunately it’s too dark for me, so I have to top it with my powder to balance the color. I prefer apply the BB cream with my fingers rather than sponge or brush. Sponge absorb too many products, while brushes swipe off the cream.

What it claims : L.A. Girl’s HD Pro Concealer is crease-resistant with opaque coverage in a creamy, yet lightweight texture. The long-wearing formula camouflages darkness under the eyes, redness and skin imperfections. Provides complete, natural-looking coverage, evens skin tone, covers dark circles and minimizes fine lines around the eyes.

In my opinions : Great concealer to cover under eye, spots, even to bright up your cheek bone. The texture is so creamy but easy to blend with brush or damp sponge. I use the color light ivory to cover my darkness and color toast to contour my cheeks and nose. This products also comes in orange color, yellow, green, lavender to cover skin imperfections. Remember to put eye cream first before so it doesn’t sit in your crease area and make your under eye looks dry. Absolutely YAY!

What it claims : Blurring the lines between lipstick and lip gloss, Matte Pigment Lipgloss has become a favorite of makeup artists, bloggers and fans. Available in 16 bold shades that provide rich and intense color in a flat finish for all day wear. The long wearing formula goes on as a highly pigmented liquid and dries to a flat matte finish, for a gorgeous velvety perfection that last and lasts.

In my opinions : I have two colors, GLG832 – Dreamy (nude mauve) and GLG835 – Rebel (purple). I like the colors, it’s so pigmented even just one swipe. But I don’t like the formula, texture, and finish. It shows my fine line and makes my lips so dry. When you put your lips together, you can feel the stickiness. After eating the color on the inside lips immediately disappeared. Do not even think to coat it again, it will make your lips so patchy. BIG NO !!
